The annual Meadows of Dan Folk Fair occurs in August. Turn off U. S. Route 58 onto the business 58 and you will find a tremendous celebration with food, crafters, historical demonstrations, Belgian Horse drawn wagon rides.
Continuing the tradition of showcasing the heritage of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the merchants and organizations throughout Meadows of Dan will be sponsoring demonstrations of heritage arts, music. The Meadows of Dan Folk Fair is held in association with the Virginia Peach Festival, sponsored by the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, and is part of a week of festival events. The Folk Fair is sponsored by the Meadows of Dan Community Association.
