Poppy's is a unique yarn and spinning fiber shop filled with specialty yarns that are produced by small farmers throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Opening hours April-December, Thursday-Monday, 10:00am-6:00pm. January-March, Friday-Sunday, 10:00am-5:00pm.

Yarns are hand spun, hand dyed and individually created by expert spinners and designers. Beautiful fleeces and prepared spinning fibers are also available in natural and hand dyed colors. We also have a used book shop featuring Civil War and other prints, vintage collectible paperbacks, rare and antique books and just good reading!
