Sometimes the best compliment we can give one of our projects is “uneventful.” The Commonwealth had accepted our PPTA proposal, and they needed this section to start quickly, to avoid a permit expiration. This jewel of a project was completed in two years. No change orders. No delays. Hardly any raised voices. Our thanks to the Department, our design partner HNTB, and a host of subcontractors, vendors, and neighbors.

For nearly 50 years we’ve contributed key pieces of infrastructure to our nation’s transportation, site development, utility, water management, and waste management needs throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.

Anyone can buy equipment. Anyone can bid work and win the job, assuming they can get a bond. But let’s be candid. Sometimes, when a client, engineer, or construction manager finds out who’s “low” on bid day, they groan.
