LIBRARY VISITS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

NOW AVAILABLE AT THE PATRICK LIBRARY

The Patrick County Library continues to provide front door curb services in our foyer to every patron who wants to check out items from our collection, make a copy, print, or fax, Monday – Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 10 am -2 pm.

To better serve our patrons, we have now added appointment only visits. You must call the library during regular hours at 694-3352 ext 1 to schedule an appointment.  You cannot leave a message to make an appointment. We do not take “walk-up” appointments.

To use the library by appointment you must not be a risk for spreading Covid-19

• You must properly wear a face mask. Face masks are required while in the library. If you do not have a face mask, we will provide one upon request.
• If you are unable to wear a face mask in the library we will be happy to provide front door curb service for you as an alternative.
• Hand sanitizer is available as you enter and leave the building. We encourage you to use it both times. 
• Maintain at least 6 feet of social distancing while in the library.

YOU CAN MAKE APPOINTMENTS FOR THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:

BROWSING:  You can make up to a 45-minute appointment to browse the collection.  Most browsing appointments are 20 minutes.

COMPUTER USE:  The time limit for computer use is 45 minutes.  If you need help using the computer you can bring one friend or family member.  We cannot provide computer help at this time.

PRINTING, COPYING OR FAXING:  We encourage you to continue to let the staff do this as front door curb service.  We can still provide this service while you wait in the foyer.  You can make an appointment but the staff cannot provide help at the computer or the copier.
