At the monthly meeting of the Meadows of Dan VFW Post 8467 on December 9, a drawing was conducted to select winners of 3 major prizes. 1st prize was a Winchester rifle, 2nd prize $200 and 3rd prize $100

Tom Bishop, Executive Director, of the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce drew out the winning tickets. Officers who led the meeting were Don Worley, Commander, Jim Saunders, Quartermaster and Rex Farris, Adjutant.
