A new cell phone tower location has been graded in the Stella Community of Patrick County, VA

Photo taken by Tom Bishop on November 28, 2011. AT&T is planning the construction of a new cell phone tower 250 foot, of the lattice type, approximately .4 mile off U. S. Route 58 on Stella Road, near the intersection of Stella Loop Road. This is the 3rd construction site on the Route 58 Corridor between Stuart and Martinsville. It will be the type which permits co-location by other Cellular Phone companies. Another site is under construction too, just off South Fork Loop, on what was the Williams property and South Fork Farm. Another site is under construction at Patrick Springs near the Car Wash on the Vernon property.
