Fluvanna County is at a turning point with a new high school coming on line, budget opportunities, and future development at Zion Crossroads to complement the success in Louisa County,� Gooch added. The press release said the board will soon begin “the process of finding a county administrator to match our strengths.� Gooch and other board members reached Thursday declined to give further comment. Fluvanna has experienced difficult and contentious budgeting in recent years in part due to the new high school, which has an estimated price tag of more than $70 million. Construction began in 2008 and is expected to conclude in 2012, supervisors said in May. As reported by The Daily Press.
