EMI ADDS JOBS IN PATRICK COUNTY
According to Adam Wright, President of EMI in Stuart, VA, EMI has been in the process of revolutionizing the way information can be retrieved from numerous legacy formats (microfilm, paper, and discontinued legacy electronic media). Through the last two years they have been extremely blessed by a devoted team and a tremendous amount of development time on programs. THEY ARE NOW READY TO ADD MORE THAN 25 POSITIONS!!!
Mr. Rose, County Administrator, the Economic Development Authority and Karl Weiss, EDA Liaison to the Board of Supervisors were instrumental in assisting EMI in their expansion. Mr. Rose also introduced Mr. Wright to Frank Strickler, Department of Business Assistance who was able to bring assistance for training that was offered by the Commonwealth of Virginia for the creation of new jobs.
On a separate note, Mr. Wright quoted, “I would like to thank the County of Patrick for moving forward on the rail trail as I have had numerous staff members become very excited about being able to ride/walk on a beautiful part of the county!! The rail trail is a very healthy benefit to the county!�
