An Ararat, VA band known as Paula Dellenback's Fox River Bluegrass Band is headed to Nashville, TN with an invitation to play at the International Bluegrass Musicians Association to showcase their band, September 30th until October 1st, 2011.

Paula Dellenback & Fox River is a bluegrass band born in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of south western Virginia and north eastern North Carolina. Focusing on the original song writing talents of Paula Dellenback, they play a mix of traditional and progressive music. The band consist of a diverse group of six members. Paula Dellenback is the lead singer in the band and plays rhythm guitar. Other members are, Casey McPherson on banjo, Jerry Gauvin, vocals and guitar, Dan Gates on Bass, Cindy McPherson harmony vocals, and Jeffrey Roten harmony vocals and mandolin. This week they will be leaving for Nashville Tennessee to showcase their band in the after hours showcase at the IBMA. The band is excited about the trip and feels that it will be a great opportunity.
