Del. Charles Poindexter of Franklin County, VA gives his support to the Meadows of Dan School

Please Support Our Friends in Patrick County Friends, By now, I am sure that you are aware of the terrible tragedy that happened in Patrick County at the end of last week. The fire that destroyed a beautiful school in Meadows of Dan has disrupted the lives of many citizens of Southern Virginia - and many people that I consider close friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to those people touched by this misfortune. I know, however, that their strength, resolve and faith will carry them through to a better tomorrow. And while tomorrow will be better, today the children and teachers in Meadows of Dan need our help. Many of you have called and asked how you can be a part of that effort. Patrick County officials are asking for cash donations via their website so they can buy supplies and begin to rebuild. And as the rebuilding effort begins, know that I am working with state leaders to make sure the folks of Patrick County have everything they need. I will continue to monitor the situation and hope to provide as much assistance as possible. Thank you for your prayers for the Meadows of Dan Community. - Charlie
