According to the Martinsville Bulletin on July 11, 2011, T. U. Parks Construction of Chatanooga, TN has filed a lawsuit against Ameresco, Inc. a Massachusetts company for $2.3 million

Patrick County School Supt., Dr. Roger Morris, says this claim is "baseless". Ameresco was the project developer for the $25 million school renovation project and T. U. Parks was the construction company. In the lawsuit, Parks alleges that Ameresco breached its contract and owes the construction company more than $2.3 million. Patrick County is also named in the lawsuit along with Ameresco.
