Tour of New Primland Tree house - Meadows of Dan, Virginia
July 2, 2011
On June 30, 2011, I toured the Primland Highland Golf Course and their new tree house lodging on the base of the mountain at 3000 foot elevation. Wow! What a view! Wow what an invention!
Only at Primland, can you see Pinnacles of Dan, and overlook the Kibler Valley at 3000 foot elevation and stand on the beautiful greens of the Highland Golf Course at the same time. I believe these greens are clean enough to eat a meal on them.
You can touch the sky from this point and breathe in clean pure air in Patrick County, Virginia.
The Dan River Valley is below in this pristine wilderness.
But a new invention! The tree house built on the ledge, overlooking the Dan River Valley, surrounding an odd shaped gigantic chestnut oak. This will surely catch on with the tourists coming here from all over the world.
What a place to relax and think. And take in the beauty of the wooded paradise. This idea of vacation will likely expand and result in constructing many more such places of lodging.
Primland offers the vacationer so much! Golf, spa, luxury lodging, delicious food, hunting and ATV adventures, hiking on the Old Appalachian Trail, fishing and much more.
This vacation spot was designed by a visionary, from Europe, who saw such rich possibilities for our spectacular rural Patrick County.
I hope to return again soon!
What a day!
