On June 30, 2011, in the afternoon, there was a bad accident on U. S. 58, JEB Stuart Highway, near the intersection of Blue Ridge Street. Car skidded accross the median, approximatel 50 yards and hit a State Road sign.

The large State Road sign was flattened. The auto landed on the bank, with the windshield broken. Driver was transported for medical attention. At this point the driver/passenger was not identified. The extent of injuries is not known at this time. Best I could tell, it was a single car accident.
