Mt. View Pentecostal Holiness Church of Claudville, VA raised $3275 for Tornado benefit today with a car wash, hot dog sale, and auction. The effort was led by Pastor Neil Pressley and Youth Leader Ann Martin

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this benefit. Lots of businesses gave gift certificates, and prizes for the auction. Thanks to Lee's Kargo, at Rt. 103 in Claudville. Pepsi Cola, Wal-Mart, Golden Corral, Prime Sirloin, 13 Bones, Chatter Box-Stuart, Lowe's Foods, Lowes Hardware, Windy Hill Orchard-Ararat, Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, WHEO 1270 AM Radio in Stuart, The Enterprise, Artist Russell Easterbrooks, Quilter Ernestine Tilley, Wood Brothers Racing Team, Cole Stables, and many other local businesses. Thanks to ladies who baked cakes and pies. Thanks to local residents who contributed to the gift baskets and cooking and preparing the meal. The money will be turned into the International Pentecostal Holiness Church Disaster Recovery Fund. Thanks to the auctioneer, Rev. Neil Pressley.
