Lincoln Rose, son of County Administrator, Tom Rose threw out the first pitch. Patty Hazelwood of Hazelwood Trucking and Wayside Bluegrass Park sung the National Anthem.
Richard Rogers, WHEO talk show morning host and 1270AM was there to take interviews for WHEO news. He captured comments from Mustang General Manager, Tim Taipalus, and others from Patrick County.
The game was delayed after 2 and half innings, with the Mustangs in the lead, 3-1, due to lightening strikes over the field. That put the game in a 30 minute delay at 8:00pm. Then at 8:30, the rain showers came down and many spectators left.
The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce and WHEO radio provided key promotion for this night.
