Mrs. Moriah Dollarhite, former Patrick County High School teacher has been named to replace E. G. Bradshaw as the principal of Patrick County High.

Mrs. Dollarhite will leave Fielddale-Collinsville Middle School where she was principal for the last 6 years. Mrs. Moriah Dollarhite, a former Patrick County High School teacher and Henry County Principal, will succeed EG Bradshaw as the new principal at Patrick County High School. Mrs. Dollarhite brings an extensive amount of professional experience to Patrick County Public Schools. Mrs. Dollarhite is a graduate of Virginia Tech (Bachelor’s Degree) and a graduate of the University of Virginia (Master’s Degree). She also completed a human resources certification from Cornell University in 2006. Mrs. Dollarhite will leave Fieldale-Collinsville Middle School (FCMS) where she was the principal for the past 6 years. During her tenure at FCMS, Mrs. Dollarhite, her staff, and students were awarded the 2010 MetLife Breakthrough School, 2010 Virginia School To Watch, Virginia Accrediation, and Adequate Yearly Progress. During her administration, Mrs. Dollarhite focused on academic areas such as differentiation of instruction, inclusion model for special education and English Language Learner (ELL) students, learning styles, rigor and relevant instruction, data driven decision making, and technology engagement. Highlighting these accomplishments, Mrs. Dollarhite presented at national conferences in Washington, DC, and San Francisco, CA. From 2002-2005, Mrs. Dollarhite served as the assistant principal at Magna Vista High School. She also taught physics, chemistry, and physical science at Patrick County High School from 1997-2001. She is a 1993 graduate of Patrick County High School. Mrs. Dollarhite resides in Patrick Springs with her husband, Jimmy, and their son, Gavin. Patrick County Public Schools welcomes Mrs. Moriah Dollarhite and is excited about the experience and enthusiasm she brings to Patrick County High School.
