Apr. 28 - Virginia Department of Employment Commission reports on improved unemployment rate in Patrick County, Virginia going to 9.7% in March 2011.

It was 10.1% in February, 2011 and 12.2% in March 2010. Patrick County had 919 residents that were jobless in March 2011, which is down from 937 in February, 2011.
