A Senior Symposium was held on March 24 at the National Guard Armory building on Commonwealth Blvd., Martinsville, VA.

It was a great time for Henry County and Patrick County seniors to come out and meet various agencies that can be of help to people in their senior years. Agencies making presentations were Patrick County Senior Citizens (by Patricia Crissman), Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Department, Rayetta Webb, and several more. Exhibitors included the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), Memorial Hospital, Homecare, Team Nurse, Kings Grant, The Landmark Group, Pioneer Community Hospital of Stuart, Mt. Valley Hospice-Stuart, AARP, Bassett Funeral Home, Ashbrook Audiology, and many more. The program included Exhibitors and seminar speakers.
