The Reynolds Homestead is pleased to host the artwork of artist Sarah Booze at the Creative Arts Center during the month of April 2021. An opening reception will be held Friday, April 9th, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Creative Arts Center. The Creative Arts Center is located at 334 Patrick Avenue, Stuart, VA 24171.
Brief Artist statement/bio: Born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina, I started my professional art career in 2017. I am a self-taught artist who has always been drawn to the beauty and wonder of the natural landscapes around me. My acrylic landscape paintings are inspired by the rural South and seek to inspire and soothe the soul.
Through color, light, and composition, my art illustrates the tranquility and allure of nature. The lush beauty and deep, vivid shadows of my art creates a place where one can rest their heart and soul. The landscapes I paint possess a quiet simplicity which invites the viewer to dive in and sit for a while.
