The Small Business Development Center to sponsor two Small Business Programs

There are two great programs coming up for Small Businesses. The first one (SBA & USDA Lending Forum) is sponsored by The Small Business Development Center and scheduled for September 26th. The session will provide participants with an overview of SBA & USDA/Rural Business Cooperative-Services programs and services. The event will focus around accessing capital and lending for startups and small businesses. This program is free, but registration is required www.sbdc-longwood.com/training Session will be at the Patrick Henry Community College 212 Wood Brothers Drive, Stuart VA Questions: 434.395.2086 The second Program is a new program from Tobacco Commission. Guidelines and applications, for the Tobacco Commission’s newly funded Small Business Entrepreneurship Support (SBES) Program are available on the webpage, https://www.revitalizeva.org/small-business-entrepreneurship-support-program/. Successful businesses selected for participation in the SBES program will be provided an opportunity to participate in an assessment/accelerator development process with Genedge Alliance. The Commission will be covering related costs for participation. The 1st application deadline is September 3, 2019; and the 2nd deadline is November 30, 2019.
