Beach Breezeway - July 25, 2026, 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Paddle under the darkening sky to visit the ghosts that haunt the lost town of Fayerdale. Hear the tales of the spirits of the moonshiners that called this area home. Canoes and personal flotation devices will be provided. Please bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen; wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty and/or wet. The program cost is $15 per canoe rental or $5 to bring your own boat. Registration is required and must be made in person at the park office prior to the event. The paddle trip is for ages 4 and up; children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Boats leave at start time. Participants must arrive 15 minutes early to board canoes. Maximum participation: 12 boats (3-4 per canoe depending on size of individuals). This event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
