Fairy Stone State Park - 967 Fairystone Lake Drive  - Stuart, VA 24171 

Location: Beach Breezeway. Date: July 4, 2026. 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary with a relaxing paddle on Fairy Stone Lake. Canoes and personal flotation devices will be provided. Please bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen; wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty and/or wet. The program cost is $15 per canoe rental or $5 to bring your own boat. Registration is required and must be made in person at the park office prior to the event. The paddle trip is for ages 4 and up; children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Boats leave at start time. Participants must arrive 15 minutes early to board canoes. Maximum participation: 12 boats (3-4 per canoe depending on size of individuals). This event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. About VA250 Experience history where it happened!
