The Landmark Center will be hosting "Why Hospice? Why Now?" Lunch and Learn program for those interested in learning more about hospice care. Join us in the Community Room at noon on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Nellie Vernatter, Senior Hospice Liaison for Amedisys Hospice, will be the featured speaker for the Lunch and Learn program. Vernatter will cover topics including the benefits of hospice, palliative vs. hospice care, compassionate family support, and she will be available to answer any questions that attendees may have. Lunch is provided for this event, and there is no charge to attend. Anyone wishing to attend the June 17, 2026 program should call the Landmark at 276-694-3050 to register.
