Kids Fishing Day at Fairy Stone State Park set for Saturday, June 6, 2026. Get ready for a fun-filled day at Fairy Stone State Park! Join park rangers for a hands-on fishing experience designed especially for kids of all skill levels. Participants will learn the basics of fishing, including how to properly cast, handle equipment, and identify common fish species found in the park's waters. Rangers will guide groups through stations, offering tips and encouragement along the way. Children 16 and under do not need a fishing license. Lunch will be provided by the Friends of Fairy Stone State Park. Not quite ready to bait a hook? No problem! Kids can also try out our fishing simulator, a fun and safe way to experience the excitement of reeling in a catch. Parks are for everyone.
