Stuart's Knob Trailhead. Dates: Nov. 7th, Nov. 22nd, Nov. 28th, Dec. 5, and Dec. 26, 2025. Time: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. After the iron industry moved away from the area, residents of Fayerdale went from mining to 'shining. Join a ranger to learn about the history of moonshining and how the residents of Fayerdale used Stuart's Knob to provide for their families. This 1.5-mile trail does have some slippery slopes, so please wear proper footwear and clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
