Patrick County History Program Part One Program and Book Release For Perry Family Scholarship on July 28 at 2 p.m. at the Ararat Ruritan Building, 4711 Ararat Highway, Ararat, Virginia. Admission is free and donations will be accepted to the Perry Family Scholarship, which was started to honor Erie Meredith and Betty Hobbs Perry, parents of Historian and Author Thomas D. “Tom” Perry, and has given away eight scholarships totaling $3,500.
