As we reach the halfway point in our Spring session of College for Older Adults, we reflect on the many great classes we have been fortunate to attend. The Cooking Up Culture class featuring Chef Rod Perrino has cooked up some amazing meals while Andrea Morrison’s class painted beautiful burlap bags to take home. On Tuesdays, Tim Smith has been teaching us all the interesting history of the Greeks and Romans and in the afternoon we have been learning all about the Civil Rights Movement. The hiking class has seen some beautiful scenery as they travel around our area while our Friday fun trips to the Taubman Art Museum and the International Civil Rights Center have been very informative. But the fun hasn’t ended! We have some very fun and interesting classes and trips in the next few weeks.
