A special election will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, for all Virginia localities. A question regarding proposed constitutional amendment will appear on the ballot. See Public Notice attached for details.

Early In-Person voting for Patrick County voters will be available beginning Friday, March 6, 2026, through Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Patrick County Office of Elections, 106 Rucker Street, Room 216C, Stuart, VA 24171, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Also, open Saturday, April 11, 2026, and Saturday, April 18, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Ballot Drop Box will be available at the same location, dates and hours listed above for early voting.  In addition, a drop box will be available at this location on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
