Come celebrate the 4th of July with us in Vesta with the Bluegrass and Old Time Music Competition, Friday, 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. If it rains, the competition will be held on Saturday, July 5th. Location: Vesta Community Center, 149 Community Drive, Vesta, VA. Bring your lawn chairs. Competition Categories: Banjo, Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin, Bands, Vocals and Flat Footing. Three levels: children, teens, adult. Everyone welcomed to compete. Must sign in by 12:00 noon. Opening ceremony by Patrick County VFW Post 8467, 10:00 a.m. followed by presentation of Quilts of Valor made by the Freedom Quilty Ladies. Quilt Show by Mountain Top Quilters, Tractor Show and Games for Children. Food, Beverages for purchase.
