FairyStone State Park Lake Swimming Now Open to Public

In May, the contact station is closed Monday through Thursday and open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking is $7 per vehicle. Use the self-pay envelope for cash or check and place in the honor safe located by the contact station booth, Stuart's Knob trailhead, boat ramp or ADA fishing parking lots. Credit cards can be used in the park office when open.
The Mercantile and boat rentals will open daily, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., beginning May 28. Concessions will remain closed this year.
The beach is open for unguarded swimming in the designated roped area. The bathrooms are open but the bathhouse remains closed.
Lifeguards will be omn duty Friday, Saturday and Sunday only from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Swimming fees apply when the beach is guarded.
The bathroom at shelter 3 is open and we have porta johns located at the following parking lots: Office, Shelter 1, Amphitheater/Trailhead and at the Boat Ramp on Union Bridge Road.
