Rapid Response Session Cancelled due to the Impending Weather
2/6/10 - The Rapid Response session scheduled for Feb. 10 for Aerial Machine laid off workers has been cancelled.
After consulting with the VEC this morning due to the weather that they are predicting to move into the area tomorrow and tomorrow night we have decided to cancel the rapid response session for Aerial's dislocated workers.
I feel strongly since the people have been laid off for so long that they have already filed their claims for unemployment. I have sent letters to each person to let them know about Workforce's services. All of the organizations that was going to be present at this rapid response session is also going to be at Feb. 17th job/career fair.
