FLOYD, VA — Celebrating its new home in the Pink Floyd Beer & Wine Garden, Across-the-Way Productions and Blue Cow Arts present Floyd Fandango 6 — a boutique, intimate two-night soiree centered around the best of FloydFest — from Friday to Sunday, June 22 to 24, 2018, at the FloydFest Site/Blue Cow Pavilion, located at 894 Rock Castle Gorge Road in Floyd, Va. (Milepost 170.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway). A celebration of beer, cider, wine, food, live music and outdoor adventure, Floyd Fandango 6 delivers an old-school festival vibe for its regional tribe — all at the low price of $30 advance/$35 at the gate, and with all the wild trappings of an intimate FloydFest in June.
“You spoke and we listened!” Kris Hodges, Across-the-Way Productions CEO and FloydFest co-founder, said. “Every year, the Pink Floyd Beer & Wine Garden is the star attraction at the beloved FloydFest Music and Arts Festival held at the end of July. This year’s Floyd Fandango celebrates that vibe and excitement by offering you that same one-of-a-kind experience that has given the Garden its reputation for the go-to place to drink, dance and throw-down in the great outdoors under a canopy of magical flora.”
Tickets are available now at http://atwproductions.com/event/floyd-fandango-6/ and https://floydfandango6.eventbrite.com, and — at $30 advance and $35 at the gate — include festival entry (from 5 p.m. Friday, June 22, through noon on Sunday, June 24), onsite camping in Premium Woodsy, onsite parking, a commemorative tasting pint and three tasting pogs. Admission is free for ages 12 and under. Onsite (unpowered) RV Parking is available for $50, and Farm-to-Table Meal (sponsored by Martin’s Downtown) tickets cost $30.
“All of this takes place in a limited-capacity, intimate atmosphere … Floyd Fandango — don’t you wanna?!” Hodges added.
In addition to beer, cider and wine tastings, the festival features a quality lineup of live music on FloydFest’s Pink Floyd Beer & Wine Garden Stage, featuring Kung Fu, The Broadcast, Erin & the Wildfire, Sol Searchers, FloydFest 17 On-the-Rise Competition-winner South Hill Banks, FloydFest 17 On-the-Rise Competition-runner-up Dharma Bombs, The Floorboards, The Jam and Blue Mule.
